from 40 reviewsThis is a simple but classy cane. It is the perfect height for my 6' husband as-is, but they leave the bottom pad loose so you can cut it shorter if desired. The finish looks really nice even up close, it looks and feels high quality. It is also comfortable in the hand and when using, which is really the most important part!
I occasionally have a problem with my bad knee. I got this cane to be ready for the next time it acts up, I don't like to fall over. The cane is solid wood and very sturdy. I looks good. It may be too long for my height so I will probably need to cut off an inch or two. Getting an extra rubber tip is a nice touch.
This is a more "dressy" cane for my husband. It's very beautiful. Well made. My only one small criticism is he is very tall and 37" canes (and walking sticks) make him lean over as he walks. I just wish 39" was the normal length and could be adjusted down from there. Otherwise, it is a very nice cane.
Stylish and surprisingly lightweight walking stick.
Cut. Down from the bottom of the stick nice finish strongly made the best stick I have ever had
This is not the cheapest Walking Stick, but to my mind it’s worth every penny! It comes complete with easily read instructions for cutting to the correct length for your height, and two rubber tips which are easy to fit. The quality is superb and the handle is incredibly comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend.
Item arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. A few inches was needed to be cut from the bottom but this was easily done and is now a perfect fit for a walking aid. V good quality and strong. V pleased.
I like everything I use it for walking
This is a big walking stick, solid and durable.
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this wooden walking cane. It is made of solid ash wood which is the traditional British walking stick material. It is not only durable and strong, but it is also shock-resistant. The finish on this cane is wonderfully done. My husband finds the Fritz handle very supportive. Overall, it is very attractive, which I would expect for this price. It is definitely long-lasting and it makes a fantastic present too. When you need more support for your joints after an injury, or if you suffer from age-related problems, this is an excellent product to use. 5 stars.
This walking stick is hand crafted and comes in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find the walking stick and 2x rubber ferrules. The walking stick is just beautiful with its mahogany finish, and I love the natural wood grain of the solid ash wood. There is a stainless-steel fitting which stands out from the wood and gives it an elegant style. This also acts as a connector for the handle to the stick as the handle can be twisted out and replaced if needed. The walking stick itself is perfectly straight and there are no kinks or bends anywhere down the length. The rubber ferrules can be slipped over the end of the stick to protect it from the floor when in use. It is quite comfortable to use. The fritz style handle was developed for people with muscular and neuro-muscular conditions. I don’t have any of those conditions but I found the handle to be extremely comfortable to use for long periods and is a lot more comfortable than my older walking stick with a simple curved handle. Out of the box, it is 96cm tall but you can cut it down to suit your size, which is what I had to do, and placing the ferrule on the cut end hides the cut. This is easily the best walking stick I’ve used, not only for the aesthetically pleasing looks, but also for how comfortable on the wrist it is thanks to the fritz style handle.
Dr. Watson's handcrafted wooden walking cane is a beautifully designed walking stick that boasts both form and function. From its sturdy construction to its elegant Fritz handle, this walking cane is a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish walking aid. One of the first things that I noticed about the Dr. Watson walking cane is its exceptional craftsmanship. This cane is made from high-quality wood, and its attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of its design. The wood is polished to a high shine, making it smooth to the touch and visually appealing. The handle is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, providing excellent support and grip. It is elegantly crafted from a single piece of wood, which gives it a seamless look that is both stylish and functional. I found that the handle offered a comfortable grip and allowed me to walk with confidence, knowing that I had a secure hold on my walking cane. The cane's height is also adjustable, [sawing off the end!] to allow it to fit shorter people. Overall, I would highly recommend the Dr. Watson handcrafted wooden walking cane to anyone in need of a reliable and stylish walking aid. Its high-quality construction, elegant design, and excellent functionality make it a top choice for anyone looking for a walking cane that offers both form and function. Whether you need a cane for mobility reasons or just want to add a touch of elegance to your everyday attire, the Dr. Watson walking cane is a great option that is sure to impress.
I am tall, so on receiving the walking stick, I was pleasantly surprised I could lower it by one inch to fit me perfectly. On the box it says made in Ukraine, which again surprised me, I did not know the they made walking sticks there, pleased to see they are still able to export goods like this. I also have fairly large hands, so it was good to see the handle was in keeping with it size, and fitted comfortably in my grip, the finger not touching the palm when held normally. It weighs 558 grams, so again, just right so as not to be a bother on a long walk. It is clearly well crafted, I understand by hand, well made, and a slightly matt finish which looks and feels durable, so I think this will be a favoured walking stick for some time to come.
